Spearheaded by Aditya Chopra, the movie will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya (Victor). Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their much loved roles of Jai Dixit and Ali. The film will begin shooting end of this year and is slated for a 2012 Christmas release. When contacted, Aamir said, "It is indeed a pleasure to be working with Yashji and Adi again. Dhoom is a great franchise, most entertaining and full of fun. Everytime I hear the theme tune of Dhoom it brings a swing to my step. Victor's script really won me over and I look forward to working with him."
Speaking about Dhoom:3, Yash Chopra adds, "It's a great pleasure to have Aamir working with our banner. I am terribly excited with what an actor like Aamir can bring to the Dhoom franchise with his unique star power and level of performance. Adi and Victor have worked over a year to bring out, what I can now confidently say, is possibly one of the best scripts coming out of our production house."

Aditya Chopra wanted to cast Tom Cruise for the legendary role of 'Raj Malhotra' in 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' as he wanted it to be an Indo-American affair.
But Aditya Chopra had to re-work on his story as Yash Chopra didn't want to make it with foreign star.
We appreciate Yash Chopra for the decision as it's now hard to imagine DDLJ without the King Khan and equally hard to envisage Tom Cruise in our desi- Raj style!

Other nominations in this category include Best Original Score trophy with John Powell (”How to Train Your Dragon”),Hans Zimmer (”Inception”), Alexandre Desplat (”The King”sSpeech”) and Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (”The SocialNetwork”).
”127 Hours”, starring James Franco as real-life mountain climber Aron Ralston who cut off his arm to escape from beneath a boulder after being trapped for more than five days, has won six nominations including best film.

You've never seen them like this before. Unprecedented sparks are going to fly between 'passionate' Priyanka Chopra and 'intense' Hrithik Roshan in Agneepath.
Says a source, "Hrithik and Priyanka don't believe in half-measures. If they've to convey intense feelings and passion they will go the whole hog in Agneepath. If in Krissh they romanced innocently keeping the kids in mind, their togetherness in Agneepath will be for Adults only."
The camaraderie between Hrithik and Priyanka is so palpable that Karan Johar gets a sense of deja vu. As a child, on his father Yash Johar's sets of Agneepath in 1990, Amitabh Bachchan and Madhavi shared the same easygoing bum-chum bantering and witty vibes as Priyanka and Hrithik.
Says a source, "Karan was just a teenager when his father had produced the original Agneepath. He still remembers the fantastic rapport between Mr. Bachchan and Madhavi. That relationship, Karan and his Agneepath remake's director Karan Malhotra felt, needed to be developed. The Hrithik-Priyanka bonding in the new Agneepath will build on the relationship that Karan had seen between Mr. Bachchan and Madhavi in the original Agneepath. The love story would be the core of the film."
When asked about the Hrithik-Priyanka rapport, Karan Johar said, "All I can tell you at the moment is that Priyanka is not playing a nurse like Madhavi in the original and she is not playing prostitute either. Yes we've built on the relationship shown in the original film between Amit Uncle and Madhaviji. The new Agneepath is first and foremost an intense love story. There was love between Priyanka and Hrithik in Krissh. But here we want an unparalleled intensity between them. You've never seen Priyanka and Hrithik get so intense with anyone before."

We guess he’s called King Khan for a reason. Everything about superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s next film Ra.One, which is touted to be one of the most expensive Hindi films ever, is being described as ‘king size’, be it action, music or budget.
And just when the media was digesting news that his superhero rubber suit in the movie will cost Rs 1 crore, SRK clarifies the real cost of the suit is much, much more. Says Khan, “I keep reading in the papers that my costume is a million rupee costume. But it’s actually a million dollar costume — that’s four-and-a-half crore rupees per costume. And there’s not one costume, there are 20 such!”
That puts the cost of just the costumes of the movie at Rs 100 crore, which reads like an unlikely figure. Khan carelessly adds that he was just talking about his character, G One’s costumes. “There are costumes forRa.One’s character too!”
Khan also goes on to liken his costumes to that of Spiderman, “Like the Spiderman suit, my costumes are specialised. They are not for style – you can’t wear them to parties. But yeah, you could probably wear G.One’s designer T-shirts.”
But when asked about the budget of the movie, Khan plays it down by shifting focus instead on to the ‘simple’ story of the movie, “Ra.One is a very real film, although it is in the genre of superhero-meets-genie in a bottle. I have tried not to keep it over-the-top or too ‘dialoguey’. It has real situations and authentic dialogue.”
Although he remains tight-lipped about the exact storyline of the movie, Khan gives us a sneak peak, “I play a very genuine South Indian character in the movie. I’ve been thinking about the poster of the movie and I think the film can be put in one line as ‘Every father wants to be a hero to his son’.
“So even though the film is about a superhero, it is also a family film,” he insists. “Kareena (Kapoor) is my wife in the movie, we have a kid and we are a regular family – there is a lot of comedy, happiness and bonding, until all hell breaks loose. And then, there is action, which you hopefully have never seen before, at least in an Indian movie.” We will soon find out.

A big Bollywood wedding is on the cards early next year. Imran Khan is marrying Avantika Malik, his sweetheart of eight-and-half years, in January.
The two had met and fallen in love when they were in college and Imran was not at all sure what he wanted to do with his life. They have been together through their growing years, seen many ups and downs, and got officially engaged early this year at a private do in Karjat. Now, a lavish wedding is set to happen in Mumbai and the two families are busy working on getting the right muhurat that could be locked in as the auspicious day for the ceremony.
Unlike many Bollywood stars who play coy and hide their affairs behind the “we are just good friends” cliche, Imran has never denied his love for Avantika or even tried to hide her from the world. They were always open about their relationship and were spotted together at many social dos… which is something that most actors who are seeing someone shy away from doing.
He will be the youngest romantic hero in Bollywood to get hitched. While Imran confirmed the wedding, he declined to divulge any more information. The actor’s PR person said that everything about the wedding was under wraps. The only known fact so far is that it will take place in the second week of January and that close friends are being sent SMSes telling them to be free around that period.
Despite the big good news, Imran won’t take time off from work and will be extensively busy promoting his next film. Post this, he will go to Las Vegas to shoot for Karan Johar’s next film on November 26 and only be back on December 16. Then the actor will take a short break of 20 days for his wedding and then rush back to the shoot.
